Exchanging on women-led innovations in agriculture

This week Lorena van de Kolk is representing GAIA and Schuttelaar & Partners at the 'Women-led innovations in agriculture and rural areas' workshop in Krakow, Poland. Organised by the EU CAP Network, it aims to empower rural women by sharing knowledge, identifying successful female-led projects, and facilitating networking opportunities.

Collecting clothes for Kledingbanken Rotterdam

From March 11 to 15 it was Circular Economy Week. A week in which we focus on producing less waste and the principles of 'reduce, reuse, recycle'. During this week we collected clothes for charity: Stichting Kledingbank Rotterdam (clothing bank). They collect good reusable clothing to make it available free of charge to people who (temporarily) have insufficient financial resources to clothe themselves and their children. Last year they helped more than 6,000 people! But now that the number of people needing help is growing and the shortage of donations is increasing, a contribution is more important than ever.
