A healthier horizon ahead 

The spring of 2023 just started. Great to feel the warmth of the sun, enjoy the longer days and feel fresh energy everywhere. The last few weeks marked a notable timepoint in recent history: the end of a pandemic. But is it really over?

The virus still circulates, its origin still sparks debate, and the impact on society is still visible. For me, a key take out of three years COVID-19 is the power of medical innovation. The rapid creation of multiple safe and effective vaccines was a key element in ending the pandemic.

But developing a new vaccine is one thing, effective policies to actually vaccinate people is another. On page 3 of this newsletter you can read more about how we recently addressed this in a societal café organized for HollandBio. And there is more what kept us busy: a new campaign for the Trimbos Institute, getting mealworms in our diet, visualizing Fairtrade’s Theory of Change and a new website.
