EU debate: the future of Agri & Food
On May 22, the EU debate on the future of Agri and Food took place in Ede, the Netherlands. European agriculture spokesmen from BBB, CDA, Christian Union, D66, GroenLinks-PvdA, SGP, SP, Volt and VVD were invited to debate and talk about the future of agriculture and food in the Netherlands. In prelude to the European Parliament elections, topics such as uniform sustainability standards for agriculture and chain responsibility were discussed.
Maastricht Debate Watch Parties
On April 29 Schuttelaar & the Young Professionals Network organised watch parties for the Maastricht Debate in Brussels and the Hague. The Debate, co-organised by Politico and Studio Europa Maastricht, was a great opportunity to make an informed decision before voting, discover the European Parliament political groups, and see them debate on crucial themes such as environment and climate, EU Democracy, and Foreign and Security Policy.
